Music sits beside them as a constant companion. It has shaped my creativity for as long as I can remember. I’m drawn to sounds with depth and intention: Soul, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, High Life, Afrobeats, Jazz Funk, and especially Amapiano. Each carries a story. Each connects cultures and eras in a way few other things can.
Travel has only expanded that connection. Every new place introduces different rhythms, textures, and perspectives, broadening not just my playlist, but the way I see the world.
Amapiano, in particular, resonates with how I work. Its pulse is precise, grounded, and adaptive. It mirrors the balance I aim for in leadership: sensing what’s shifting, responding with clarity, and keeping the rhythm steady when the environment changes.
